Abstract

Parking problems are very important to study in more depth. If the need for parking space is not sufficient, then the vehicle will park on the roadside (on-street parking), which causes congestion. Traffic jams due to parking on the road shoulder also occurred on Sultan Syahrir Street, South Surakarta Legi Market. This study aims to analyze parking capacity, road saturation degree, parking patterns, and parking revenue. In this study, the method used is quantitative data processing by collecting primary and secondary data by analyzing parking space requirements, calculating parking space capacity, determining parking patterns, and parking income. Static capacity for 2-wheeled vehicles is 96 SRP, and for 4-wheeled vehicles, it is 74 SRP with a road capacity of 3,039.96 pcu/hour. The saturation degree value of Sultan Syahrir Street on Saturday was 0.311 pcu/hour, and on Tuesday it was 0.297 pcu/hour. Based on the table of service levels for Sultan Syahrir Street, it is included in service level B, which means stable flow, limited speed, and volume suitable for roads outside the city. With a 45-degree and parallel parking angle solution, the average revenue for 2 and 4-wheeled vehicles is Rp. 934,000 - Rp. 1,567,500. Suggestions for the Surakarta City regional government to study some problems that exist on Sultan Syahrir Street, such as determining parking angles and road markings, to overcome congestion or divert to alternative routes Road performance and service levels need to be improved so that the arrangement of parking spaces on Sulta Syahrir Street is better.
