Students have a strategic role as agents of change. Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of community service for university students through the provision of empowerment assistance, training, counseling, guidance, mentoring and to raise awareness of their potential, as well as helping to improve the quality of life and development. Students will gain generative abilities in the form of life skills. Observations are carried out using the following methods: (1) question and answer, (2) documentation, and (3) direct observation in the field. Based on the results of the observations, the KKN group work program to be implemented is determined, including physical group programs and non-physical group programs. The physical group programs include Designing a Tourism Village Concept, Supervising Village Road Paving, Making & Packaging Compost, Introducing & Counseling the Matesih Smart Application, while the non-physical group programs include Mentoring & Healthy Exercise for Students of SDN 03 Matesih, Study Guidance at the Village Post, Reviving the Youth Organization, 17th August Competition, Tirakatan Night, and Closing. Judging from these programs, students act as facilitators, dynamists, and motivators. The implementation of the work program, which started from August 8, 2022, to August 31, 2022, went relatively smoothly. Thus, after the KKN activity ends, it is hoped that the residents and youth organizations of Matesih Village, especially in Panderejo Hamlet, can develop all the potential that exists within themselves and the surrounding environment. And every activity that has been carried out continuously will be maintained to equip themselves for the future
2025-12-04T13:58:51+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Tunas Juara: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakathttps://ejournal.utp.ac.id/index.php/TUJU/article/view/5875IMPLEMENTASI KKN SEBAGAI KEGIATAN PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYARAKAT PADA ASPEK FISIK DAN NON FISIK DI DESA KORIPAN KECAMATAN MATESIH KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR2025-12-05T10:44:34+07:00Paska Wijayantipascawijayantika@gmail.comKusdiman Joko Priyantokusdiman.joko@lecture.utp.ac.idGatot Nursetyogatot.nursetyo@lecture.utp.ac.idMuhammad Ismailmailmuh9@gmail.comFerara Nanda Agustinoferaranandaagustin@gmail.com
The Community Service Program (KKN) is a concrete manifestation of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education which aims to empower the community through the application of science and technology. Jatisobo Village, which has potential in the agricultural and MSME sectors, but faces challenges in the quality of non-academic human resources, digital literacy, and environmental management, was designated as the KKN location. Therefore, the KKN program focuses on five main pillars that are holistic. This community service aims to improve the quality of basic education through learning assistance and assessment of students' reading/numeracy skills, strengthen the moral foundation and character of children through religious activities, encourage the economic independence of MSMEs through the use of online marketing, transfer agricultural innovations through organic vegetable cultivation training; and build environmental awareness through the habit of disposing of waste properly from an early age. The method used is an Integrated and Participatory Multi-Method, involving hands-on workshops, fun learning, as well as action research and a reward system. The program is implemented in active synergy with village officials, elementary school teachers, and the Karang Taruna group for one month. KKN has successfully provided tangible contributions in five main sectors, namely improving students' basic skills, measured through post-tests on reading and arithmetic; TPA/Mushola has become more active and children are motivated to preach; facilitating village MSMEs in onboarding to e-commerce platforms and social media, opening wider market access; Implementing organic cultivation demonstration plots; and successfully instilling the habit of disposing of waste properly through a reward system in schools and the provision of educational waste sorting facilities. The entire program received a positive response, marking the successful transfer of knowledge and adoption of innovation by the Jatisobo community.
2025-12-04T13:59:49+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Tunas Juara: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakathttps://ejournal.utp.ac.id/index.php/TUJU/article/view/5883PERANAN KKN SEBAGAI WUJUD PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYARAKAT DI DESA KARANGBANGUN KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR2025-12-05T10:44:31+07:00Dian Arumningsihdian.arumningsih@lecture.utp.ac.idRasyiid Lathiif Amhudorasyiidlatifamhudo@lecture.utp.ac.idAde Sandhy Atmajaadesandhy.atmaja@lecture.utp.ac.idAlfiansyah Dyan Nuralifalfiansyah.dian2604@gmail.comWisnu Setyo Hidayatwisnusetyohidayat@gmail.com
The Community Service Program (KKN) was implemented in Karangbangun Village, Matesih District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java, for 31 days, starting from August 1st to August 31st. Karangbangun Village was chosen as the destination village for the Community Service Program (KKN). The abundant potential of the village is one of the main objectives of the KKN implementation, which is to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in processing and developing the potential of the local village. The KKN begins with a village observation process to explore the village and see the potential of the village which will be the main target in the KKN implementation. The programs are designed sequentially starting with discussions between the KKN group, village officials, local youth organizations, and the local community, especially those directly related to the designed programs. The implementation of the KKN program is carried out in a balanced manner, starting with planning, implementation, and evaluation at the end of each program. The results achieved from the entire KKN program include developing community skills and helping to develop human resources to increase the potential of the local village. A literacy program is also implemented to develop quality human resources from an early age. In the environmental sector, the development of a waste management concept at the village level has received a positive response and active participation from residents of Karangbangun Village, Matesih District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. We also implement programs. In the education sector, we implement programs held in elementary schools and provide guidance at the TPQ (Islamic Junior High School) related to tutoring and self-development. We also participate in local village activities. Thus, after the Community Service Program (KKN) concludes, it is hoped that the Karangbangun Village community will continue to develop all the potential that exists within themselves and the environment around them. And every ongoing activity will be maintained continuously to equip themselves for the future
2025-12-04T13:59:24+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Tunas Juara: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat
