STUDI KESEDIAAN PENGGUNAAN APD PADA PEKERJAAN BETON DI PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN GEDUNG UTSMAN BIN AFFAN MOJOGEDANG

Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tools set used by workers to protect all or their bodies part against potential hazards possibility in the workplace or work accidents. This final project entitled "Study of the Willingness to Use PPE in Concrete Work in the Utsman Bin Affan Mojogedang Building Development Project" has problem formulation how is willingness level to use PPE in concrete work in the Utsman bin Affan Pondok MTA Mojogedang dormitory building construction project, this research purpose is to find out willingness level to use PPE in concrete work in project. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method which is a method in examining a people group, objects, conditions. The population in this study amounted to 20 concrete workers and by distributing questionnaires to be filled out by ironworkers and processing data with Ms.Excel help, Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) programs. The total score obtained from each PPE calculation is 75 for head protection and included in good category, 82 for leg protection and included in very good category, 70 for hand protection and included in good category, 57 for eye protection and included in sufficient category, 65 for vests safety and included in good category, 56 for safety ropes and included in sufficient category, 57 for respiratory protection and included in adequate category. PPE total average use is 61%. This shows that willingness level to use PPE in the Utsman bin Affan Pondok MTA Mojogedang dormitory building construction project is classified as good.
