ANALISIS PERKEMBANGAN OLAHRAGA SKATEBOARD DI KOMUNITAS DIVISI TIANG SALATIGA

Abstrak

The aim of this research is to find out how skateboarding is developing in the Salatiga Pole Division community. The method used in this research is qualitative. The research location is Jalan Kartini Salatiga. The research target is the Salatiga Pole Division community and the public. This research instrument consists of observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis in this research show that the development of skateboarding in the Salatiga Pole Division community, the community is familiar with skateboarding, but as a forum for skateboarding enthusiasts in Salatiga City, the community is not yet aware. The obstacles include facilities that are not yet supported, a management structure that has not been formed, minimal support from the government, and regeneration that is still within the scope of friendship. Then the supporting factors for the development of skateboarding in the Salatiga Pole Division community are facilities and infrastructure such as skateparks which are not yet available. The conclusion of this research is that the development of skateboarding in the Salatiga Pole Division community is not yet good enough because the public only knows about skateboarding, but the public does not yet know about the skateboarding sport in Salatiga City and the lack of optimal support from the government has resulted in developments not being as expected. The author also has suggestions for the Salatiga Pole Division community to immediately form a management structure to collaborate with the government.
