PENGGUNAAN JOGGING SWIMMING BELT SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF GERAK FISIK PADA LANSIA

Abstract

Elderly people often experience health problems, especially low back pain and joint calcification, which can affect their quality of life. This research is a literature study which aims to find alternative safe physical movements that can be used for the elderly who generally experience problems with low back pain and joint calcification. Physical activity, escpecially cariied out in water using jogging swimming belt, is an effective alternative to overcome this problem. Jogging swimming belt help reduce stress on joints and muscles provide suspension and float the body, as well as providing an additional challenge for elderly balance and coordination. A jogging swimming belt can be considered a holistic and safe solution to improve the health of elderly people who experience low back pain and joint calcification. Through these water activities, elderly can gain significant benefits to maintain physical fitness, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.
