Abstract

This industrial visit was motivated by the urgency of maintaining quality standards in the traditional

medicine sector, particularly at PT Jamu Air Mancur, which has consistently implemented Good Manufacturing

Practices for Traditional Medicines (GMP). This research primarily examines the role of GMP as a quality control

tool and a means of increasing raw material efficiency. Using qualitative descriptive methods, information was

obtained through direct observation during a visit to the Palur factory in Karanganyar, covering production stages

from sorting, washing, drying, to final packaging.
