RANCANGAN KEMASAN BERBASIS BUDAYA UNTUK SUVENIR BONEKA ETNIK MINANG

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan merancang kemasan suvenir boneka etnik Hikayat Nusantara, khususnya seri Minang, yang menggabungkan aspek budaya, estetika, serta fungsi secara terpadu. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, dan kajian visual. Proses perancangan dilakukan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu Discovery, Creation, Refinement, Implementation, dan Production. Kemasan berbahan karton dirancang dengan ilustrasi boneka etnik yang merepresentasikan kekayaan budaya Indonesia. Selain berfungsi sebagai pelindung produk, kemasan dilengkapi fitur magnet dan slot kartu untuk meningkatkan kemudahan penggunaan. Penyertaan kartu informasi dan sertifikat juga memberikan nilai edukatif bagi konsumen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa desain kemasan mampu meningkatkan keterikatan emosional pembeli serta memperkuat daya saing produk di pasar suvenir etnik. Penelitian ini turut mendukung pelestarian budaya Indonesia melalui pengembangan desain suvenir yang inovatif, edukatif, dan berkelanjutan.
