KONSELING INDIVIDUAL DENGAN TEKNIK MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR ANAK DI PANTI ASUHAN
Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has made learning that was originally done face-to-face turned into distance learning which is done online. This makes the role of parents considered the most important in guiding, controlling and motivating children in learning. But in reality there are children who do not get the opportunity to get direct direction and guidance from their parents because they live in orphanages. This study aims to determine the description of the increase in children's learning motivation in orphanages after individual counseling with motivational interviewing techniques. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The results showed that individual counseling with motivational interviewing techniques can help increase the learning motivation of one child at the Pekanbaru orphanage
